Infrastructure

Infrastructure for the campus is provided by the State Government. Being comparatively a new institution started in 2014, we are in process of development.

Additional buildings are now being developed by government including Hostel Buildings, Kitchen & Dining Area, Staff Quarters, etc. Work is in progress.

The EMRS, Lumla is governed by Art of Living (AOL) with an MoU with the State Government Nodal Agency. We utilise 100 % of the grants offered by the Government of India for Students Maintenance, Administration and Salary so that we can create an environment to stimulating enough for efficacious learning.

Academic Building

At present we have 12 classrooms, Activity Hall, Gymnasium Hall, Computer Classroom, Library cum Art Lab, Science Lab, in the Academic Section.

Hostel

Campus has 1 Hostel designated to Girls in school, while Boys are stationed into vacant classrooms.

Activity Hall & gym

Activity Hall is dedicated Gymnasium with 8 Station Multi-Gym and a USI Boxing Ring with all boxing accessories.

It also houses the stores and other Sports items place.

Meditation Hall

We have 1 hall dedicated to activities including Yoga & Meditation, Arts, Craft and Drama, Quite, Inter-house Subject competitions, Television News & Entertainment for students & Assembly.
Meditation Hall is wall to wall fully carpeted, includes a 50″ Digital Television with TataSky HD connection, Heaters, PA System, White Board and accessories for general functions in school.

Modern Kitchen (LPG Pipeline)

EMRSL has a modern kitchen on the campus withholding the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.

It is equipped with External LPG cylinder holding space and LPG Pipelines as per IOC standards.

Kitchen uses all SS Steel cooking utensils and trollies.

Dining area has SS Steel dining plates, spoons, quarter plates and glasses for students which are easy to clean and maintain.

The kitchen staff is all trained to cook delicious meals while maintaining the food value and nutritional aspects.

Vehicle

School owns a SUV Mahindra Scorpio S10-4WD
SUV is essential for the terrain which is very rough with out proper roads and at an altitude of 8000 ft with very heavy rains 7 months in an year.
We use the vehicle for all school purposes in this very remote area very close to International Bhutan & Chinese Border.

Power House

We face a power shutdown of few hrs every day and to combat that we have built our own power station with two 100 KW Power Transformers, one for backup.

All cabling is done by Management using highest quality of electrical equipment and cables.

Water Filter and Chlorination Plant

Water supply in this high altitude region is often not potable during the rainy season which longs for almost 7 months.
Water from running water sources is muddy and needs chlorination and de-silting
We have installed an Italian Technology based Water Filtration and Chlorination plant inside campus to ensure clean potable water

100% LED Campus

We have recognised the importance of saving electricity from the day one and converted the campus into 100% LED lighted campus.

We have installed all gadgets which are power savers and alll lighting is based on LED lamps in Academic building as well as Hostels.

UPS & Inverters

EMRSL has installed UPS and Stabilizer to ensure uninterrupted power supply 24x7x365 days.
All classroom equipment and lighting are on UPS.
Student have Power access for recharging of their Computing Tablets.
CCTV runs of UPS for 24×7 surveillance.

+Implements

School boasts of state-of-the-art Tools and Electronic Equipments for repairs and maintenance as well as for general services in the campus. We have trained in-house staff for the general maintenance.

We also have on campus the high-end computers for office usage and a very efficient LAN based Computer System with Windows OS for students. Computer lab consist of 30 networked computers for a class of 30 students with ratio of 1:1.

UPS, Inverter, Refrigerator, Oven, Mixer-Grinder, Power Drill, Water RO Filter, etc are some regularly used equipments.

Students boast of individual Computer Tablets provided one to each one, for learning as well as Paper-Less Exams.

Biometric Attendance

A high end Bio-Metric Attendance system for staff is installed to control and regulate the staff presence in the service of Students.

CCTV Surveillance

School campus is constantly under CCTV surveillance.

It becomes inevitable that all times a watch is kept in the campus where Boundary wall is not present. Also being a Co-Educational Residential institution, a close watch is kept on Students, Staff and Visitor’s movement.

We have installed HD camera system in Academic as well as Hostel buildings and covers the open areas as well.

Fire Safety

Fire safety is a major concern area where we have taken caution and installed CO2 Fire Extinguishers in the whole campus including the Halls & Office area, Kitchen & Dining & Hostel and Labs.
Our Fire Safety is certified from the Fire department of the State Government.
