We at Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS, Lumla) follow the CBSE curriculum to teach them various subjects. CBSE curriculum covers all the essential aspects of the school education system and we follow that in a precise manner to ensure the highest standard of the learning process.
All our school furniture and office furniture come from Godrej, as we ensure the best of amenities at the school campus.
We are affiliated to the CBSE Board with Affiliation number 2220190 & CBSE Affiliated School Code No – 39186 since April 2017 and follow the CBSE curriculum in a precise manner so that we can ensure the best of educational support to each and every student at the school. We provide a learning environment for the betterment of each student.
All Laws and By-Laws of CBSE ae followed as directed including Qualification of TGT Teachers, Teacher Student Ratio, Classroom facilities, Scholastics, Books and stationary, etc
Subject Teachers oversee the projects given to the students during the vacations and session.
Students are encouraged to evolve and investigate on the subject matter.
EMRS, Lumla houses a rich library with over 4500 Audio Visual and Published titles, 2 encyclopaedia, full range of Indra Jaal Comics, Tincle Comics, TinTin comics, imported titles, Short stories, Biographies, Scientific and Technological publications, Ancient Scriptures in Audi Visual format, Novels, etc.
We proudly say that we have one of the best Libraries in Arunachal Pradesh. We encourage the students to inculcate a habit of reading.
EMRSL has a futuristic digital classroom system in place with half the classrooms with Digital Smart-Class installations.
We are the pioneer in Arunachal Pradesh to have installed Digital Classroom Equipment and an inspiration to State Government to start Digital Classes in Arunachal Pradesh.
Such Digital learning environment at EMRSL encourages students from underprivileged families to be equipped at par with the Public Schools and boost their confidence when they compete with others.
Students are provided with personal Computing Tablets. Tablets are useful to students in process of learning as well as during examinations for E-Papers.
We encourage them to use tabs so that their software and computing skills get polished along with making them equipped at par with the students of Public Schools. They are being prepared to compete in the best of environment with the best of students from across wide variety of schoolings across India.
This instils confidence in students that they are not behind any other irrespective of their humble backgrounds and better prepare them for future work environment and higher education.
EMRS, Lumla provides a state-of-the-art computer lab with 30 computer terminals in LAN Network and connected through N Sync system. We have the latest computer models to ensure that our students stay updated with the latest technological innovations. We have 30 students and there is a 1:1 ratio of student vs computer.
Students are learning the Desktop Publishing software like Windows Office and Art software as well.
N-Sync environment also introduces them to the LAN and Networking environment.
Whiteboards are installed in every classroom with marker to deliver modern safe for health learning environment.
School offers compulsory extra coaching classes in evening to students to better equip them with the learning process through coaching & self-study.
Students do not carry books to their dormitories. The classroom study during School Hours is supplemented with evening Subject coaching.
Dedicated teachers are personally responsible for student’s good results. 1st Batch of CBSE Board Class X results proves our commitment.
We promote Micro Teaching Techniques at all levels.
A group of 5 students under mentorship of a brilliant student is encouraged to take up self study.
Students in Micro Teaching group evolve with each other’s help and without inhibition. They are encouraged to reply to each other’s queries.
This system has tremendously benefited week students to come up to much higher levels of understanding of each subject.
